getrresume.com (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted resume builder, ATS scoring, cover letters, and related job-search tools. This policy explains what data we process and why.
2. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email address, and password (stored hashed).
- Resume & job content — text, uploads, and job descriptions you submit to generate or analyze resumes and cover letters.
- Usage & plan data — feature usage, plan type, and payment metadata from our payment provider (e.g. Razorpay).
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic device information needed for security and reliability.
- Communications — messages you send via Contact us.
3. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account, including email verification.
- Generate, store, and export resumes and related AI outputs you request.
- Process payments, enforce plan limits, and prevent abuse.
- Send transactional email (verification, password reset, billing notices).
- Improve product quality, security, and customer support.
4. AI processing
When you use AI features, relevant resume and job text is sent to our AI providers to generate results. We do not sell your resume content. Do not submit sensitive data you are not comfortable processing for that purpose.
5. Sharing
We share data only with:
- Infrastructure and AI vendors that help us operate the service.
- Payment processors to complete purchases.
- Authorities when required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Retention
We keep account and resume data while your account is active. You may delete resumes or request account deletion via Contact us. Backup copies may persist for a limited period.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your choices
- Update your name or email from Account (email changes require confirmation).
- Request access, correction, or deletion of your data via Contact us.
- Opt out of non-essential marketing if we send any (transactional mail will continue).
9. Children
The service is not directed to children under 16. Do not register if you are under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
